A person thing I noticed, is that you said you don’t trust he’ll be honest with you while he’s sober…how often do you see him under the influence? That’s a purple flag to me. And why are you afraid of telling him the way you feel and getting him upset? So we have a guy that one) Is using drugs to feel better and 2) Makes you feel like you can’t be open with him on the way you really feel? You don’t need to tell him every one of the feelings you have for him.

P.S. You’re right, no person is perfect. BUT don’t let his imperfections distort the BEST of you. If that’s happening then you SHOULD be fearful, but if you’re comfortable within yourself and never getting misplaced in him, then you’re wonderful. Just my impression.

Anyway all day Sunday he appeared okay he was still calling me babe and said he experienced a great night and many others. He won’t show you any affection after three years together? Some guys show more than others…but how in the world did The 2 of you end up together then?? Anyway, sounds like he’s using you if that’s the only time he shows affection is within the bedroom. Something is WRONG, huge time. He knows it much too, but probably, like most guys, doesn’t have the first clue what to accomplish about it. He’s about to generally be a father also, and that almost certainly weights closely on him also. Who knows what the many issues are, but I don’t think past relationships with women have been as large of factor as he believes. Affection comes naturally from a loving heart.
